Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to join our Chicago team. You will design bridges and roadway structures to meet IDOT/Tollway standards, conduct structural analyses, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license in Illinois, have 5+ years of bridge design or inspection experience, and may have SE eligibility within a year. This role offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• PE license in Illinois required.
• Minimum 5 years bridge design or inspection experience.
• NHI bridge inspection training is required.
• MS degree is a plus; SE license preferred or obtainable within 1 year.
• IDOT/Tollway experience is a plus; MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design bridges and roadway structures per IDOT/Tollway standards.
