Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to join its Ohio team, contributing to design calculations, technical reports, plans and specifications for diverse projects. You will work with the project manager to perform research and deliver high-quality work on time, while applying engineering methods and current tools to support project completion.

Locations include Blue Ash (Cincinnati), Cleveland and Columbus, with compensation aligned to state and national ranges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
• AICP certification may be preferred depending on discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work; manage schedule and budget on projects.
• Assist with marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of the project team’s work within the discipline.
• Mentor and review junior staff; provide feedback.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client and teaming partners.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
