Zusammenfassung

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction seeks a Bridge Project Engineer with bridge experience to join our Civil engineering team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will work on transportation structures, including bridges, walls and culverts, with a focus on design, analysis and documentation.

You will lead technical tasks, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff while pursuing licensure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
• Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) preferred or licensure pursued with 2-year target.
• 5+ years of project experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Experience with bridge design principles and bridge inspection.

Aufgaben

• Design transportation structures including bridges, walls, and culverts.
• Prepare structural analyses and design calculations per codes.
• Produce technical reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Conduct on-site inspections, analyses, and condition assessments.
• Mentor junior staff and support project development.
