Job summary

District Department of Transportation (DDOT) seeks a Program Manager for the Bridge Program within the Infrastructure Project Management Administration. The role leads a multi-disciplinary team of civil and structural engineers to plan, design, and manage bridge projects, asset management, preventive maintenance, and related studies across mega-projects.

The position requires a PE license, DC licensure within 12 months, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with ABET accreditation or equivalent.
• Combination of education and experience in engineering fundamentals allowed.
• Specialized experience in bridge program management and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Program Manager for the Bridge Program within IPMA.
• Review complex transportation design programs for conformity to standards.
• Direct and oversee division engineers on design and project execution.
