Job summary

Jr. Davis Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled pile driving operator to ensure safe and efficient use of pile driving equipment on active projects.

You will drive pilings for bridges, walls and foundations, and assist with hoisting, loading and setup of equipment. The role requires knowledge of pile driving in bridge operations, strict adherence to safety procedures, and willingness to work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience operating pile drivers and related equipment in construction.
• Familiar with driving pilings for bridges, retaining walls and foundations.
• Active driver’s license and safety-conscious approach.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when required.
• Ability to travel to assigned worksites and operate around cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate pile drivers mounted on skids, crawler treads, or cranes to drive pilings.
• Hoist pilings and position hammer over piling; drive to desired depths.
• Assist with assembling and loading pile driving hammer and hoisting equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of equipment; perform minor maintenance.
• Check fluid levels, tire pressures, and change implements as needed.
• Work with ground crew to achieve project objectives; follow safety standards.
