Job summary

S&B USA Construction seeks an experienced Construction Pile Driver/Carpenter Foreman to oversee field operations on phased bridge projects. The role requires leading a union workforce, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Experience with pile driving methods, EFCO formwork, and complex rigging is highly valued. The candidate will coordinate with the Superintendent, review plans, and manage subcontractors while maintaining rigorous safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• Member in good standing of the local union.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Proficient with EFCO forming system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Schedule work assignments with the Superintendent to optimize productivity.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to project Superintendents.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide guidance to union craft employees on proper techniques and safety practices.
• Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure conformance with specifications.
