Qualifications

• Three years as a Highway Foreman 2 or equivalent federal/state job title as determined by policy
• Five years of technical highway maintenance or construction experience
• An equivalent combination of experience and training

Responsibilities

• Develop county bridge repair programs, analyze needs, and prepare project lists and estimates
• Coordinate permits, schedule work and secure materials with engineers and crews
• Inspect repair work, interpret structural plans, and supervise complex construction activities
• Provide emergency response support for urgent bridge repairs
• Track salvaged materials, monitor inventory, and arrange transfers across counties
• Direct building maintenance personnel and promote safe and efficient work practices
