Job summary

Jobot, an Indianapolis-based engineering firm, is growing its bridge inspection and testing team. This role offers strong benefits, large-scale INDOT projects, and an excellent regional reputation.

You will assist with onsite inspections, manage equipment, and eventually lead inspections, with opportunities to advance to Indiana Bridge Inspection Team Leader. Remote flexibility is supported where feasible.

Qualifications

• PE or EIT certification or licensure required or pursued.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel for bridge inspections (day and overnight).
• Knowledge of INDOT bridge inspection guidelines is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onsite bridge inspections, data entry, and bridge inspection reports.
• Manage bridge inspection equipment, schedule inspection personnel, etc.
• Eventually lead onsite bridge inspections.
• Coordinate with roadway, water, environmental, survey, and utility engineers.

• Eventually lead onsite bridge inspections.
• Work and coordinate with roadway, water, environmental, survey, and utility engineers.

Qualifications

• PE or EIT certification / licensure
• Knowledge of INDOT bridge inspection guidelines is a strong plus
• Ability to safely traverse uneven terrain.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel for bridge inspections (day and overnight trips as required).
• Willingness to eventually become an Indiana Bridge Inspection Team Leader.
