WSP USA is seeking a Full‑Time Bridge Inspection Intern to join our Exton, PA office. This 12‑week summer internship offers hands‑on exposure to bridge projects, with mentorship and networking through our Developing Professionals Network.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil Engineering programs with a 2027 or later graduation date, possess strong communication skills, and are eager to learn field methods, drafting, and cost estimation in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering undergraduate program with anticipated graduation December 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Demonstrated interest in bridge inspection and related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engineers and non‑engineers.
• Capable of taking direction from leadership and mentors.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and common tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Civil Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks and adhere to policies.
