Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Summer Internship in Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection in Lawrenceville, NJ. The paid internship runs for 12 weeks, starting May 17, 2027, with a focus on gaining hands-on experience in bridge inspections and related engineering tasks under senior staff supervision.

Candidates must be enrolled in Civil Engineering or related programs, be 18+, and be willing to work both in the field and in the office. Visio, MicroStation, and AutoCAD experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited Civil Engineering or related undergrad program.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Interest in bridge and sign structure inspection and related skills.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles.
• Ability for 50% field and 50% office work.

Responsibilities

• Support bridge and infrastructure inspection projects.
• Assist with structural engineering tasks under supervision.
• Prepare plans and sketches using Visio and MicroStation.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with field work.
• Learn basic structural engineering techniques and industry practices.
