Qualifikationen

• BSCE or related degree required.
• 1+ years of bridge inspection or design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
• VDOT project experience preferred.
• PE designation or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.
• Bridge design/rehabilitation and load rating experience preferred.
• NHI Bridge Inspector training or similar courses a plus.
• NHI Inspector training within past 5 years preferred.
• BSCE and safety inspection experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Bridge, tunnel, and ancillary inspections and load ratings.
• Prepare inspection schedules, reports, QA/QC, and assist with coordination.
• Eng tasks related to bridge design and transportation structural projects.
• Design steel, concrete, and/or timber bridge elements and walls.
• Perform structural analyses, develop calculations, and prepare plans per regulations.
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and special provisions.
• May conduct site visits and structure inspections.
• Manage and maintain project QA/QC documentation.
• Assist project managers with scheduling and proposals.
