Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Project Superintendent for a design-build bridge and heavy civil project north of Tampa Bay, FL. This full-time on-site role leads foremen and subcontractors, drives production, safety, scheduling and budget management in the field, with FDOT work and collaboration with owners’ teams.

Based in or relocating to Tampa Bay / Central Florida, candidates should bring 5–7+ years of bridge experience and FDOT contract knowledge, plus OSHA competency and a clean driving

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of bridge experience on heavy highway and bridge construction.
• Experience as a superintendent running a bridge or interchange job.
• Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• OSHA competent person.
• Clean driving record.
• Design build experience is a plus.
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on bridge and highway work.
• Schedule foremen, crews and subcontractors.
• Set production goals and enforce them.
• Plan work with the project manager and engineers.
• Own jobsite safety and act as OSHA competent person.
• Coordinate with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team.
• Track quantities, production and field cost against budget.
• Keep daily reports and field documentation current.
• Coordinate material, equipment and deliveries.
