DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a Bridge and Highway Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on bridge projects and associated highway duties. The role involves operating heavy highway equipment, concrete spill repair, cleaning/painting steel, and more, with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year on roadways, and a valid driver’s license with 3 years of clean driving history.

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bridge Technician with a great attitude and strong ethics. He or she will be responsible for performing the overall maintenance of the bridge maintenance project assigned.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• May operate various forms of heavy highway equipment.
• Concrete spill repair.
• Cleaning and painting steel.
• Utilize Equipment to clean and grades ditches, drainage structures, highway road shoulders, and slopes.
• Repair work including, but not limited to, repair of fences, sign repair, litter debris removal, and other bridge maintenance activities to include emergency response.
• Advanced MOT training.

Education:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Class Aor Bcdl is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age older.
• Must have at least one year of experience on the roadway.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Must be able to drag 50lbs for 150 feet.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to drive standard shift vehicles.
• Must have the ability to obtain ATSSA certification in the installation of traffic control.
• Bridge maintenance, highway maintenance or construction skills are preferred.
• Boating experience is preferred.

• Shift: Monday throughThursday, 6am-4:30pm with availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
