Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking experienced Carpenters for heavy highway and bridge projects in the Northern VA/DC/MD area, including Wallops Island and surrounding sites.

You will construct, erect, and repair concrete forms, read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and work safely with fall protection. Ideal candidates have Carpenter Training or bridge-form‑experience, be able to travel to job sites, and wear steel-toed boots.

Qualifications

• Carpenter Training Program or equivalent, or bridge-form work experience.
• Read blueprints and sketches to plan layouts and dimensions.
• Must be able to work tied off to fall protection and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, and repairs structures; reads blueprints and plans.
• Handles formwork for bridges and concrete pours with appropriate hand/power tools.
• Sets up braces, forms, and scaffolding; ensures safety and quality of work.
• Assists in pouring and finishing concrete and in fabricating form sections.
