Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Bridge Foreman or experienced bridge crew leader.
• Strong understanding of bridge construction practices, equipment, NCDOT specifications, and project requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, accountability, and commitment to quality workmanship while representing Sanford Contractors professionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily crew activities with safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism.
• Plan work assignments, coordinate labor and equipment, anticipate material needs, and communicate resource requirements to the Superintendent.
• Train and develop crew members; coordinate with project inspectors; identify and address safety hazards; request surveying or layout support as needed.
• Maintain clear communication regarding scheduling and planned absences; work the hours necessary to meet project schedules and operational demands.
