Job summary

WSP is seeking a Bridge Senior Technical Manager for our Missouri Bridge Practice on a part-time basis. The role leverages leadership, MoDOT experience, and structural design expertise to grow client relationships and deliver high-quality projects.

You will mentor staff, develop design plans and cost estimates, and work with local leadership to shape regional strategies while upholding safety, quality, and professional standards across concurrent assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering required.
• 10+ years of post-education engineering experience.
• PE licensure in Missouri or reciprocity eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and methods.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to lead, guide teams and ensure QC/QA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the client base with high-quality services.
• Mentor staff for growth and professional development.
• Develop design plans, specs and cost estimates.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
• Assist office leadership with regional client strategies.
• Maintain QC standards for measurements, analysis and reporting.
• Perform structures-related computations and analyses.
