WSP USA is offering a Full-Time Bridge Engineering Intern position in Florida (Miami, Tampa, or Orlando) to work with experienced engineers on transportation projects across the Southeast. This 12-week summer internship provides hands-on experience in planning, design, and construction support for bridges while offering mentorship and networking opportunities.

You must be enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering degree with a Structural focus, with a graduation date after December 2027, and

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree with Structural focus, graduating after Dec 2027.
Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
Interest in Structural/Bridge Engineering and related projects.
Strong communication and ability to take direction from leadership.

Responsibilities

Support engineering tasks on transportation projects to develop technical skills.
Learn basic principles of Structural and Bridge Engineering.
Assist with studies, field investigations, and design calculations.
Learn OpenBridge Designer, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, Bluebeam.
Prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
