Arup is seeking an enthusiastic student for a hands-on role in the Bridges, Civil and Offshore Structures team in San Francisco. You will support structural analysis and design of bridges and transportation structures, contributing to planning, analysis, and the preparation of calculations and reports.
Under supervision, you will develop analysis models, use digital engineering tools, and collaborate across disciplines on infrastructure projects, while engaging in professional development
Competenze
- Pursuing undergraduate or master’s in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Fundamentals of reinforced concrete and steel design.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; basic CAD skills.
- Strong technical writing and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication (written and verbal), Curious Mindset, Technical Excellence.
Mansioni
- Support the structural analysis and design of bridges and transportation structures.
- Assist in preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specs, drawings, and construction documents.
- Develop and utilize structural analysis models and digital engineering tools for project delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transportation, marine, energy and infrastructure projects; participate in learning and development activities.
