Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Bridge Engineer in Houston to join multi-disciplinary teams on infrastructure projects. You will analyze, design, detail, inspect and assess transportation and energy structures while developing technical and project delivery skills.

You will contribute across planning, concept, detailed design and construction support, using industry-standard software and BIM tools. Strong academics and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in structural/civil engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background in structural analysis and design of bridges.
• Interest in transportation infrastructure and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges and transportation infra.
• Develop design calculations, reports, specs and construction docs.
• Support FEM and structural analysis with industry software.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, civil, rail, marine and construction teams.
• Assist in drawings and BIM model preparation using digital tools.
