Parsons is seeking motivated engineering students for our Summer 2027 Bridge Engineering Internship in Seattle. You will work on drawings and calculations for highway and rail bridge designs, gaining exposure to industry standards and real project work.

Responsibilities include CAD-based drafting, data compilation, and applying design codes to ensure compliance. The role requires enrollment in Civil Engineering and familiarity with CAD tools such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.

Formación

• Must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university.
• Completed courses such as structural analysis, steel or concrete design, geotechnical engineering, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Use CAD to prepare engineering plans, sections and details starting from sketches and other general design information.
• Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
• Become familiar with various standards and codes. Apply codes to check compliance of designs with applicable criteria.
