Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer in Nashville, TN to design bridges and transportation structures from concept to construction plans. The role includes bridge inspections in accordance with NBIS and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

The candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering and 1+ year of bridge experience, plus EIT/FE registration and familiarity with industry software.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering and an EIT/FE registration.
• 1+ year of structural/bridge engineering experience.
• Willingness to learn design software like LARSA, LEAP Bridge, STAAD Pro, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design bridges, box culverts, retaining walls, and related structures.
• Provide geometrical layout and quantity development.
• Calculate bridge load ratings and draft inspection reports.
