Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Raleigh, NC (also in North Charleston, SC) seeks a Bridge Engineer II to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, reports, plans, and specifications for diverse infrastructure projects. You will work with the project team to develop concepts and detailed designs using current drawing and analysis tools, contributing to successful delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's with 1 year, plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.
Exhibits proficiency in applying engineering, geometric and algebraic principles in your work.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and MicroStation or similar design software.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
Prepares and modifies project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
Develops project quantities and assists with cost estimates.
Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
Performs field investigations and contributes to design of projects.
