Job summary

Pennoni Associates Inc. is seeking a Graduate/Associate Bridge Engineer (0-4 years) to join our Lehigh Valley, PA office. You will assist with structural analysis, plan production, and NBIS inspections across projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, using MicroStation and AutoCAD tools.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, strong communication skills, and an interest in developing expertise in bridge engineering with opportunities for domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Driving is a requirement of the position; a clean driving record is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the structural analysis and/or design of Bridges (highway & railroad), culverts, retaining walls, and overhead sign structures on a variety of projects.
• Assist with plan production by implementing 2-D and 3-D modelling for transportation projects using MicroStation/OpenBridge or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Support NBIS bridge inspections across the Pennoni footprint with occasional travel.
• Learn and apply professional techniques to produce high-quality engineering documents for bridges and related reports.
