Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Richmond, VA is seeking an entry-level Bridge Engineer to join our transportation team.

You will contribute to developing bridge and structural plans for DOT and municipal projects, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET) is required; 0–4 years of experience and EIT/FE certification are preferred.

We are looking for entry-level Bridge Engineers to join our team in our Richmond, VA office. In this role, the engineer will work on a multi-disciplinary team developing bridge and structural plans for transportation projects for VDOT and/or municipal localities.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program, master's degree preferred
• 0-4 years of relevant experience required
• Must be able to work independently and in a design group setting
• EIT/FE certification preferred

The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000.00 - $125,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
