Who We Are:

Fisher Associates, P.E., L.S., L.A., D.P.C, is a multidisciplinary design services firm headquartered in Rochester, NY, with eight locations nationwide. The firm provides civil/site engineering, transportation engineering, electrical engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, GIS, construction inspection, precast engineering, and construction engineering services to public and private sector clients across numerous markets. All services are delivered through the firm’s signature “Clientship” philosophy, emphasizing customized, innovative, quality solutions, and an exceptional client experience driven by clear communication, deep expertise, and proactive client advocacy.

Salary Range:

$72,000 - $85,000 annually

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any employee. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Complete assignments related to bridge inspection, load rating, analysis, and concrete/steel bridge and foundation design.
  • Assist with field inspections and reports for bridge and culvert inspections.
  • Develop detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for bridges and related structures.
  • Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Assist Project Managers and Designers proactively.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, consultants, and clients.
  • Provide technical support during construction, including addressing design queries, conducting site visits, and reviewing progress to ensure alignment with design intent.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
  • 0 - 5 years of transportation experience; structures/bridge design experience preferred
