Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Bridge Electrician in Detroit, MI to perform journeyman-level electrical work supporting moveable bridges, pump houses, and related infrastructure. You'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and modify electrical systems, read blueprints, and document field reports.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, a Michigan Master or Journeyman license, safety focus, and ability to work overtime and on-call. CDL endorsement is needed.

Qualifications

• Michigan Master Electrician or Journeyman License required.
• 4+ years as Electrician in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Experience with industrial, commercial, municipal, or transportation electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, program and maintain electrical systems for bridges and pump houses.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Read blueprints and sketches; interpret specs.
• Operate CDL equipment and maintain CDL endorsements.
• Document field reports and maintenance logs.
• Work outdoors in all weather, at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Coordinate with Bridge Mechanics and maintenance teams.
