Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; master's in structures a plus.
• Registered P.E. preferred; licensure a plus.
• 3–7 years of bridge design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microstation.
• Ability to travel and work independently to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design or check retaining wall and other structural components for road/site projects.
• Prepare structure type selection studies.
• Deliver PS&E documents with bridge staff on time and within budget.
• Perform bridge designs and load ratings using software.
• Coordinate with clients to meet objectives and satisfaction.
• Support regional presence in transportation structural engineering.
