Qualifications

• Bridge/structural engineering experience; PE or on track within one year
• Proficiency with AASHTO LRFD and bridge design software (LEAP/CSiBridge/STAAD)
• Strong written and verbal communication for client meetings and technical reports
• Willingness to reside in South Carolina and travel occasionally to project sites

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, finite-element modeling, and load rating for steel, concrete, and prestressed concrete bridges.
• Develop plans, details, and technical reports meeting AASHTO, DOT, NBIS requirements.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, roadway, and hydraulic teams to integrate foundation and approach-roadway solutions.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction to ensure design intent.
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices in analysis, detailing, and quality control
