Creighton Manning Engineering, LLP seeks an experienced Structural Engineer 2 for bridge and transportation projects in Albany, Poughkeepsie, or Syracuse, NY. The candidate will develop plans, perform structural analyses, and coordinate with clients and teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has NY transportation design experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a PE licensure in NY or the ability to obtain reciprocal licensure.

Qualifikationen

• Experience progressing transportation infrastructure design projects in New York State, including culvert and bridge replacement or rehabilitation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client relation skills—verbal and written.

Aufgaben

• Prepare or check calculations and direct design procedures to ensure compliance with AASHTO and NYSDOT standards.
• Prepare design reports, specifications, plans, studies, permits, and designs for bridge projects.
• Develop plan details for bridge replacement/rehabilitation per NYSDOT standards.
• Coordinate with client and team to develop effective solutions within scope and budget.
• Perform structural analysis and stability reviews of bridges/structures for proposed loads.
• Develop demolition/erection sequence plans and stability analyses during construction.
• Design/detailing of temporary shoring towers and hydraulic lifting systems.
• Develop crane pick plans including site logistics and rigging considerations.
• Serve as Project Engineer with autonomy and client contact across multiple projects.
