Job summary

Oregonite is seeking a bridge engineering designer to support due diligence, investigation, remediation, and construction of load-bearing structures such as bridges and transportation facilities. The role blends office and field work and reports to the design manager.

Youll perform bridge inspections, assist with design, prepare cost estimates, review shop drawings, and contribute to project documentation. Requires a BS in Civil Eng and an EIT; field exposure and physical demands apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Hybrid office/field work environment; exposure to field conditions.
• Physically able to sit, stand, and lift up to 35 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on bridge projects.
• Bridge inspections, assessment, and rehabilitation design.
• Review shop drawings and assist field technical support for bridge construction.
• Complete quantities and construction cost estimates.
• Prepare reports and estimate costs.
