Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineer to support design calculations, reports, and plans for infrastructure projects. You will work with project managers to research, develop, and deliver engineering solutions using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and the MS Office suite.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering with several years of experience or a higher degree, and are prepared to contribute to multiple disciplines while mentoring junior staff and ensuring quality control on deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering with relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Assist in the development of project specifications.
• Responsible for development of discipline specific engineering project elements/deliverables such as reports, designs, and plans.
• Aids in the coordination and productivity of project team members.
• Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team members.
• Works closely with other disciplines and on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs quality control reviews of discipline - specific engineering project elements/deliverables.
• Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work within discipline.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
