French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Bridge Department Manager to lead our NJ/NE transportation bridge practice at our Wall Township, NJ headquarters. You will oversee project delivery, mentor staff, cultivate client relationships, and drive growth while maintaining technical excellence across complex bridge projects.

As Senior Project Manager or PM, you will guide design, rehabilitation, inspections, and load ratings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license required.
• 15+ years of progressive bridge/structural experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing projects.
• Experience with NJDOT or other public-sector clients preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Bridge Department, including project delivery and staffing.
• Serve as Senior Project Manager on complex bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership on design, rehabilitation, and inspections.
• Mentor staff and participate in recruitment to grow the department.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Guide proposals, scope and fee development, and interviews.
