S.M.H. Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Bridge Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for major infrastructure and bridge projects in West Virginia. You will direct crews, subcontractors, and site logistics to drive project execution and long-term structural quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field construction leadership experience on bridge projects.
• Ability to read engineering plans and manage site schedules.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Direct complete daily field operations for bridge construction to ensure safety, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee abutment construction, pile driving, beam setting, and deck forming.
• Plan site logistics, look-ahead plans, and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review blueprints and contract specs to verify site precision and compliance.
• Communicate contractual issues and progress with executives and PMs.
• Mentor site personnel to foster a safety-first, high-performing field culture.
