Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Project Manager with bridge construction experience in the Denver, CO area. The role focuses on heavy civil project leadership, field coordination, and delivering public-infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of heavy civil PM experience, CDOT exposure, and a proven ability to manage bridge projects from startup to closeout, collaborating with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and public clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Bridge construction experience required.
• CDOT project experience required.
• Experience managing DOT, roadway, bridge, structural concrete, or public infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of budgets, job costing, cost reporting, billing, and change orders.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, contracts, and regulations.
• Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee 1–4 heavy civil and bridge projects.
• Lead bridge and infrastructure projects from startup through closeout.
• Plan field operations, manpower, milestones, sequencing, and weekly project priorities with Superintendents.
• Manage project schedules, delays, site access, material needs, subcontractor coordination, and field challenges.
• Build relationships with CDOT, public-sector clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to maintain safe jobsites and enforce OSHA standards.
• Manage project financials: job cost tracking, billing, change orders, forecasting, budget updates, and cost controls.
• Identify negative project trends early (budget fade, schedule delays, scope gaps).
• Prepare scopes of work for subcontractors and purchase agreements.
• Assist with estimating and pricing change orders.
