Job summary

SFC Civil Constructors, a division of Journey Group, is seeking a Bridge Construction Foreman in Sioux Falls, SD. You will coordinate a civil crew, manage production, and uphold safety, reliability, quality, and cost controls on bridge projects.

Ideal candidates have five years of heavy highway or civil carpentry experience, read blueprints, and hold a valid driver's license. OSHA 10 is preferred; travel within South Dakota is required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of heavy highway or civil carpentry construction related experience.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read or learn to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and interpret plans.
• Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel in and around South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil crew on bridge construction projects to coordinate production, safety, reliability and quality.
• Ensure safety compliance, manage costs and drive continuous improvement on site.
• Read and interpret plans and supervise daily field activities to meet schedule.
