Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc (GPI) seeks highly qualified Bridge Coatings Inspectors to support projects across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and nearby states. Experience in transportation or municipal coating projects is preferred; metalizing or shop inspection is a plus.

GPI is a multidisciplinary engineering firm delivering planning, design, and construction services for transportation infrastructure for over 50 years.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIP 1, Basic Coatings Inspector with at least 1 year of bridge coating inspection experience.
• Preferred SSPC BCIs and SSPC C3 Supervisor certifications; Deleading of Industrial Structures training is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle; ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, or reject work per specifications or codes.
• Monitor waste materials and traffic as specified.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports on conditions, progress, weather, and acceptability of work.
• Travel to multiple job sites; some assignments may include night shifts.
