Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking Bridge Coatings Inspectors to support projects across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and other Midwest states.

Experience in transportation or municipal coatings inspection is highly preferred, with CIP1 certification and at least 1 year of field experience. We value individuals who can review contractor submittals, procedures, and hazardous waste plans, and who can travel to multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIP1 Basic Coatings Inspector certification and 1 year of coating inspection experience.
• Preferred SSPC Bridge Coating Inspector (BCI) and related trainings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, or reject work per specifications or applicable codes.
• Monitor waste materials and traffic control as specified.
• Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports on conditions, progress, weather, and acceptability of work.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Some assignments may include night shifts.
