Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15 years of Heavy Civil/Highway and Bridge construction.
• 15 years of estimating/project management experience with lead estimator on +$50M projects.
• Experience in earthwork, excavation support, bridge construction, utilities, and cast-in-place concrete (urban preferred).
• Design-build and joint venture heavy civil estimate experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete estimates for heavy civil projects, independently or leading an estimate team.
• Estimate for bridges, roadwork, and rail/transit construction.
• Manage estimating staff on large and joint venture bids.
• Identify quantity takeoffs, risks, and bid schedule.
• Develop and maintain DBE plans and bid documents.
• Present project means, methods, schedule, and risks to executive management.
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members.
