Job Description

To deliver prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring orders for servers are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for providing Food and Beverage products that maximize guest satisfaction in a consistent and controlled atmosphere.

Responsibilities

1. Greet all guests promptly in a friendly manner and be well versed in all activities of outlets and hotel.
2. Maintain a clean physical appearance and ensure the bar meets specifications, hotel, and health standards.
3. Attend department meetings regularly.
4. Deliver beverages to guests, monitor guest drinks, and anticipate needs.
5. Handle all open checks and collect payments efficiently.
6. Prepare drinks, complete guest and server orders accurately.
7. Ensure proper payment collection from departing guests.
8. Have extensive knowledge of spirits, beers, and wines offered at each bar.

Qualifications

1. Enforcement and knowledge of local liquor laws.
2. Must have alcohol training certification (TABC) and food handler's training certification.
3. Ability to ring up orders through micros.
4. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
5. Adhere to all cash handling policies.
6. Previous bartending experience preferred.
7. Maintain liquor par levels and make requisitions daily for bottle exchanges.
8. Flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
9. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
