The White Gown is a boutique bridal salon located in NYC where you can shop for wedding dresses in an intimate setting making you feel right at home. With one of the largest bridal gown collections in New York, our expertly curated collection contains many of the finest names in bridal like Amsale, Enzoani, Pronovias, Rita Vinieris, Sassi Holford, Vera Wang, Watters, and more. Our expert bridal stylists will make your wedding vision come to life! In addition to helping you find that perfect wedding dress, we also have an extensive selection of bridal accessories and bridal celebration dresses to add the finishing touches to your bridal wardrobe. We carry gowns for many budgets. The price range for gowns in our collection is between $2,000 and $10,000.

The White Gown is an intimate, full service bridal salon. We provide detail-oriented attention and a dedicated level of service to each bride that we would wish for in our own search for a gown. We strive for genuine relationships with our brides, making a true connection and getting to know each client like a member of the family.

Role Description

  • Assist brides in finding their dream wedding dress by providing exceptional customer service (You are required to carry dresses to and from the dressing room)
  • Guide brides through the entire bridal gown selection process, from trying on dresses to finalizing the purchase
  • Offer expert advice on dress styles, fabrics, and accessories to help brides make informed decisions
  • Take accurate measurements and assist with fittings to ensure proper dress alterations
  • Maintain a clean and organized bridal salon environment
  • Answer phones as needed
  • Process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, Bridallive

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and natural ability to connect with people
  • Enjoy working with customers and their guests to find them their perfect dress
  • Proven ability to recommend additional products and services to enhance the bridal experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills: Proficiency in performing basic calculations for sales transactions

Note: Previous experience as a Bridal Consultant is required.

This is a part-time position for Weekends each week. There may also be opportunities to fill in for other Bridal Stylists on other days during the week. Please include in your cover your work availability as well as why you feel you would be perfect for this position.

Compensation is based on experience. Starting salary is $18-$21/hour plus commissions, tips, and bonuses. Consultants should expect to make anywhere from $25-$30+/hour after training is completed and you are taking regular appointments.

Job Type:Part-time

Pay:$18.00 - $21.00 per hour (depending up on years of experience)

Shift:Day shift (9:00am - 5:30pm)

Weekly day range:Every Saturday and Sunday

Fill in as needed (Tuesday - Friday)
