David’s Bridal in a retail setting is seeking a Seamstress Tailor Sewing Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to support stylists in gown customization. You will maintain the alterations room, manage fittings, assist customers, and ensure price accuracy and quality control on garments.

Experience with sewing and POS is preferred; a high school diploma is required. This is a part-time role with benefits, offering opportunities to work with a leading bridal brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with fittings and alterations.
• Manage alterations room and ensure high-quality finishes on garments.
• Assist stylists with gown fit and customization during sales process.
• Maintain store standards and adherence to dress code policy.
• Ensure accurate pricing and efficient alterations servicing.
