David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise, delivering superior customer service and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers across channels, managing alteration services, promoting personalization options, and supporting stylists in upselling gowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, adapting style to suit customers by problem solving and clear communication.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs & Be There for all customers, including operational checklists.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and contribute to Five-Star Customer Service.
• Address customer concerns with confidence and know when to elevate to leadership.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the dress in partnership with Alterations and promote all alteration services.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance.
