Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and report to the Store Manager. You will exemplify friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise while delivering superior customer service in a busy retail setting.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, managing alterations flow, promoting services, and maintaining all alterations tasks to brand standards with a focus on five-star experiences for every client.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• Experience with a computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm over phone, chat, and in person.
• Manage customer flow using systems to deliver five-star service.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming, and responsive.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously.
• Address customer concerns and escalate when needed.
• Promote alteration services and gown customization options.
• Assist stylists in closing sales regarding gown fit.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance.
• Execute alterations tasks to meet company standards.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
• Keep alterations room clean, organized, and stocked.
