David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist (Part Time) to complete alterations and fittings with high standards. You’ll provide expert sewing, customer service, and problem solving both in person and via phone or chat, ensuring a five-star experience for every guest.

Responsibilities include managing alterations, assisting stylists with gown fit, and maintaining a clean, organized alterations room while upholding the company’s dress code and service guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal or alterations environments.
• Experience in a retail setting and use of a POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm and solve problems with clear communication.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver a five-star experience.
• Perform alterations, fittings, steaming, and quality checks per company standards.
• Assist stylists with gown fit, customization, and sales support.
• Maintain store appearance and adhere to dress code and safety policies.
• Respond promptly to customer questions and build long-term loyalty.
