Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to perform fittings, alterations, and garment finishing with exceptional customer service. This part-time position involves assisting stylists, managing alterations workflow, and maintaining a pristine alterations area. Prior sewing and retail experience are required, with POS experience a plus.

The role emphasizes friendly, knowledgeable service and adherence to Dress Code and quality standards across multiple customers and transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required (bridal or formal wear preferred).
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in person, over the phone, or via virtual chats.
• Manage alterations workflow, fittings, sewing, steaming, and finishing of garments to quality standards.
• Assist stylists in services and upsell alteration options.
• Maintain store standards and ensure a clean, organized alterations room.
• Resolve customer questions and issues in line with company guidelines.
