Job summary

Karl Strauss Brewing Company is accepting applications for Brewpub Line Cooks to join our Heart of House across our California brewpubs. This role offers an hourly wage with tips and opportunities to grow within the company.

As a Line Cook you will prepare and plate high-quality food to recipe specs, work fry, sauté, pantry, expo, and grill stations, and uphold safety, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work a minimum of three shifts per week is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work a minimum of three shifts per week.
• Capable of working in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and kitchen equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Works stations on the line such as fry, sauté, pantry, expo, and grill.
• Ensures all food meets specifications by quality checks and plating.
• Manages tickets using Double-Line System for expediting.
• Maintains professional demeanor with passion and integrity.
• Assists teammates and follows management directives.
• Adheres to all safety practices and maintains kitchen cleanliness.
