Job summary

The role supports the brewhouse team to ensure consistent quality and smooth operations. Key duties include completing the brewing process (milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, cooling, and transferring wort), repairing equipment, and completing daily cleaning and maintenance checklists.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Able to lift heavy objects (50 pound malt bags, etc.) and work in brewery environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete brewing process in a safe and efficient manner (milling, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, cooling, transferring).
• Repair brewery equipment with assistance from Brewhouse staff.
• Complete daily cleaning and maintenance checklists.
• Aid with yeast propagation following Company's process.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house.
• Work with Lab Technician to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Maintain use of standard operating procedures unless instructed.
• Communicate regularly with Granite City staff.
• Maintain inventory and report low levels to supervisor.
• Arrive on time with a positive attitude and complete paperwork on time.
