Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented individual for a brewing position in Northville, Michigan. The candidate will be primarily responsible for producing wort and maintaining brewing equipment and facility. Additional tasks include cleaning, quality assurance, and communication with staff. Ideal candidates have a high school degree, project management skills, and a passion for brewing. Flexible work schedule required, with potential nighttime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Passion and commitment for brewing.
• Able to lift heavy objects (empty kegs, 50 pound malt bags) above five feet.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to enter and exit brewery vessels for cleaning and inspection.
• Work in environments of 32 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Able to understand MSDS and handle chemicals utilized in the brewery.
• Able to multi-task and work both unsupervised and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete brewing process in a safe and efficient manner.
• Repair brewery equipment with assistance from other Brewhouse employees.
• Complete daily cleaning and maintenance checklists.
• Aid with yeast propagation following Company's process.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house.
• Work with Lab Technician to ensure product quality.
• Maintain inventory and report low levels to supervisor.
• Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
