Job summary

Deschutes Brewery, a Bend, Oregon-based craft brewery, is hiring Maintenance Technicians (Full-Time) to support production and packaging. Roles include night and day shifts with competitive hourly pay and a clear career path through internal training and cross-training opportunities.

Candidates should have 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a brewery or beverage setting, with strong troubleshooting, schematics reading, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of verifiable experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Experience in a brewery or beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Basic computer skills (MS Windows, MS Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, adjusts, and aligns components of machinery and equipment.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs to manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Observes devices/systems in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Repairs and replaces defective parts.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, overhaul, lubricate, disassemble and repair as needed.
• Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance team and Operations team.
• Utilize CMMS system to view work orders, document parts usage and labor hours, add notes of work completed, and close out the work order.
• Follow procedures for documenting parts usage and reporting inventory levels.
• Assess job hazards and contribute to providing the safest work environment possible
