Job summary

Indeed Brewing Company is seeking a part-time Accounting Associate to oversee detailed financial documentation across both taprooms in Minneapolis and Milwaukee. You will provide actionable insights to leadership under the Director of Business Services, ensuring seamless financial operations across sites.

Responsibilities include bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, AP/AR, payroll support, and tax filings, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years bookkeeping experience; food/beverage, hospitality, or manufacturing a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Encompass Online (or similar) and POS reconciliation.
• Familiarity with multi-location or class-based accounting.
• Understanding of (or willingness to learn) TTB and state alcohol excise tax requirements.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• High attention to detail and comfort with deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books across two locations, segregating P&L by site.
• Record and categorize revenue, COGS, and operating expenses.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant processor accounts monthly.
• Manage accounts payable: vendor bills, terms, and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable: invoice wholesale accounts and collections.
• Process or support payroll, including tipped/hospitality staff wages.
